ABOUT

This is not just a 5km; it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty that defines North Gower, whether you choose to race, run, jog, or hike. Taking place on Sunday, the 5km trail race is a perfect way to close off your running experience at Love Trails Festival, taking in one last scenic wander on the final day of what has hopefully been a magical weekend!

Waving goodbye to the festival village, the route starts along the Wales Coast Path, with views of wild ponies and sheep scattered across the salt marshes. You’ll endure a short climb up onto the sweeping trail above the festival site, before descending back down, finishing amongst the full festival experience, returning to a lovingly made wooden medal, designed and made right here in the Gower Peninsula.

This route is fully marked with directional signage, so there’s no need to navigate, just follow the signs!

There are no aid stations on this route, so pack snacks, water, and enjoy the journey!

ABOUT

This 10km trail race can be raced, run, or walked, alone or with friends. However you fancy tackling it, scenic splendour awaits.

Heading straight out of the festival site on Saturday morning, the route travels across compact dusty trails (with a bit of mud!) over the wild expanse of Cefn Bryn, dropping down to the peaceful village of Reynoldston, beaming with Welsh charm. Here, you can expect a well stocked aid station, brimming with snacks and hydration, and your halfway marker before the descent down past Arthur’s Stone, returning to the buzz of our festival site. With varied terrain and endless views, you can expect a blend of uphill excitement and downhill exhilaration, all in equal measure.

As with all our trail races, you’ll start and finish amidst the energy of the festival site, with a whole programme of live music and post-run celebrations to follow. This is a fully supported route with marshals and one aid station.

Think you’ve got what it takes to become a Beer Mile Relay World Champion? Then get a team together for this crazy, booze-fuelled 400-metre relay race (non-alcoholic beer is available, but you still have to deal with the bubbles!).

Compete against hundreds of worthy opponents in the Beer Mile Relay World Championships, taking place on Saturday afternoon at Love Trails 2025.

Teams of four go head-to-head to see who can down a beer the quickest and complete a mile.

One person from each team drinks a can of beer, and then runs 400m, then the next person goes, in a relay format. The first team to complete the mile wins. Sounds easy, right? It’s really not.

On the other hand, if you think you can chug 4 beers and do the entire mile by yourself, fill your boots !

Limited slots available and sign up opens on June 28th 2025.

ABOUT

Merrell is going big at LoveTrails this year.

The trail running brand is creating a festival experience entitled, Trail Sonified, one that’s rooted in music and powered by the trail in partnership with Tempo LDN – a run community of DJs based in London.

The collaboration sees data sonification used as tool to soundtrack the festival - collecting trail runner’s Strava data and manipulating it into music to bring natural beats and frequencies to life on the Gower Peninsula.

The activation places festivalgoers at the heartbeat of the campaign - where each trail runner and their environment isthe music.

Trail Sonified is brought to life through a day-time cool-down zone that uses our audiences trail running data and our environment to power the decks with laid-back beats courtesy of Tempo LDN.

Athene Club invites you on a slow-paced, 8–10 km hike along the breathtaking Worms Head and Rhossili Trail.

Check in with us at 11.30am and our coach leaves bang on 12noon. Once arriving at Rhossili Bay, the hike  includes mindful pauses to sketch, connect, and take in the sweeping views, featuring a visit to Rhossili’s iconic Sunflower Field.

This event is now fully booked but if you wish to turn up on the day at 11.30am, we will allocate any spare seats on the coach at 11.45am on a first-come, first served basis.

The experience will span a few hours, offering space for fresh air, creativity, and community. At lunchtime, a live drawing session led by one of Athene’s talented community artists will give attendees the chance to capture the dramatic coastal scenery. Sketchbooks and materials will be provided. All that’s needed is a sense of curiosity and some good vibes. The coach will drop you back off at the Festival Site around 5.00pm.

Athene Club is a multi-faceted space and community group connecting women with the outdoors. Whether through hikes, running, meditation, or educational workshops, the collective are the grassroots of a growing sisterhood with a passion for exploring the active potential of nature within our communities and beyond. Founded in 2021 by photographers Zaineb Abelque and Olivia Jankowska, the group emerged from their shared adventurous spirit, creative bond, and a mutual recognition of the lack of safe, inclusive spaces for women to connect and hang out in London. Through their friendship and vision, they built a community focused on cultivating meaningful connections and encouraging women to embrace and explore the outdoors.

Run Talk Run
ABOUT

Run Talk Run has been providing a safe and non-intimidating space to seek mental health support since October 2017. We are now a global community, with 100+ leaders in locations worldwide. Every group is hosted weekly to provide consistent peer support for those who seek it. Our groups are supporting people experiencing mental ill-health, particularly people waiting for or not engaged with treatment. Inactive people, or those who find it hard to ‘commit’ to regular exercise. People experiencing loneliness or at risk of experiencing loneliness. London in particular has been ranked as the ‘loneliest’ city in the UK with only 7% of Londoners thinking the city is a good place to make new friends. (Source: Time Out Index Survey 2016.) Loneliness can contribute to or exacerbate mental health difficulties with 4 in 10 people having felt depressed because they were alone. In a survey conducted in December 2019, 82.9% of runners stated that Run Talk Run had improved their mental health. RTR provides a safe place for people to commune outside, enjoying the mental and physical health benefits of running together.

Starting in 2023 and supported by just a handful of loyal friends, Shakeout fast became a social hub where running was just a medium through which we got to enjoy each other’s company over a coffee or pint. Numbers remained modest through a harsh Cornish winter, but then started to grow as we prioritised exploring the beautiful coastline this corner of the country offers. Proudly 50% queer-led and with an unwavering focus on inclusivity, our club attracts a diverse crowd, and our offering has now expanded to bi-weekly runs, a weekly yoga session and monthly socials. We are now partnering with Passenger Clothing for a monthly run, collaborating regularly with local cafés and restaurants, as well as Lucky Saint beer. We proudly hosted our first public event in June this year, with 115 runners taking part. Since inception, we’ve maintained the stance that whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, you're welcome. Long may this continue to encourage people to become part of our wonderful community!

ABOUT

Tooting Run Club (TRC) is a free community group based in South-West London. TRC was launched in 2022 and was born from a simple idea: running is better together. Emerging from the shadow of the pandemic, TRC set out to bring joy back into people's lives, providing a space to stay active, build community connections, and improve well-being in a friendly, inclusive environment. Just eight months after launching, TRC won the England Athletics National Award for Community Project of the Year, followed by Club of the Year for the London Region in 2024—a testament to its growing impact and strong community spirit. Our Mission To make running accessible, enjoyable, and community-driven. Whether you’re chasing personal bests or just getting started, Tooting Run Club is here to share the journey with you. Our vision To provide free opportunities for adults to stay active, build community connections, and improve well-being in a friendly and inclusive space. Our Purpose TRC exists to widen participation in running and increase activity levels across Tooting and beyond. We provide a safe, welcoming space—particularly for women—to exercise, build confidence, and improve overall well-being. We're committed to breaking down barriers that have traditionally kept people from running, whether it’s financial constraints, lack of training knowledge, or safety concerns. Our Values • Inclusive Community: Spaces for all paces and faces—everyone belongs. • Support & Encouragement: We cheer each other on, from first steps to finish lines. • Growth Mindset: We embrace the journey and celebrate progress. What We Offer TRC’s Monday night training sessions at Tooting Bec Athletics Track have become a community staple, drawing over 250 participants each week for structured interval training to boost fitness and speed. In addition, we also host these weekly sessions: • Midweek Social Runs — Easy-paced community runs for all abilities. • Tuesday Yoga Classes — Stretch, recover, and find balance. • Thursday Strength Classes — Build resilience and prevent injury. There’s no membership forms to fill, simply book a free ticket on Eventbrite to attend one of our sessions. At the heart of our offerings is a commitment to implementing free fitness programmes that cater to all abilities, ensuring that everyone—regardless of experience or fitness level—has the opportunity to improve their physical health and well-being. Our structured exercise plans are designed to support growth, celebrate achievements, and foster a sense of accomplishment within the community. Our calendar is packed with additional activities, including: • Long Runs — Explore new routes with fellow members. • Parkrun Tourism — Discover different Parkruns across London. • Doggy Dash — Bring your four-legged friends along for a fun run. • Walking Group — An option for those who prefer a gentler pace. • Social Events — Share stories, celebrate milestones, and connect with the community. Community & Support We believe in organising community-building events that bring people together—whether it’s through group runs, social gatherings, or volunteer-led initiatives like Parkrun takeovers. These moments are where friendships are built, confidence is nurtured, and unity is forged. TRC is entirely volunteer-led and remains dedicated to keeping all activities free. To do so, we fundraise actively and welcome support from local businesses interested in contributing to a positive community impact. Sponsorship opportunities are available—reach out to us to learn how you can help keep Tooting active and thriving. Visit our JustGiving page or email us at TootingRunClub@gmail.com for more details. Feedback & Impact Feedback from our runners has been overwhelmingly positive; improvements in physical and mental health but also the formation of lasting friendships—proof that running together is better. Safe, Sweaty and Supportive is at the heart of everything we do.

Running can feel like such a daunting and competitive sport, can’t it - especially when you add on the inequality in sports education and opportunities for us girls (young and older), as well as the prevalence of violence against women that still exists in our society. I didn’t feel safe running on my own, and it was damaging the amazing mental and physical health benefits I know it can bring.

The name is a playful nod to taking the pressure off, our runs start 15 minutes after the advertised time (and the fact we are usually running late ourselves). We now have 9 pace groups, each running with music to keep the energy up and the conversation flowing. Every Monday, over 200 runners join us, creating a buzzing, welcoming atmosphere that keeps growing. Our mission is to make running feel welcoming, social, and stress-free. We’re here to build community through movement, not competition. Whether you’re chasing a PB or just want to meet new people, Running Late is a place where everyone belongs, no matter your pace, background, or experience.

ABOUT

Angry Pablo is a hybrid clothing brand that views sport and leisure through a more playful, inclusive lens. We champion individuality over conformity, with our signature character, Pablo, offering a tongue-in-cheek response to the overly serious world of performance apparel — encouraging people to move, connect and feel good in welcoming spaces. Our weekly Brighton run club is an extension of this ethos — offering people the chance to move, connect and start the day on the right foot.
