Yes! Love Trails is for everyone of every fitness level and ability.

There are plenty of shorter (5km or less) Run Experiences all weekend, and the majority of these are socially paced. and focus more on enjoying running and connecting as opposed to high performance. If you are participating in one of our Trail Races, you can walk, jog, run, or hike them.

Our wellness sessions and workshops also cater to everyone at every experience or fitness level.

You can run at whatever pace feels right for you. Our Run Experiences are designed to be inclusive and welcoming to people of all abilities, backgrounds, and fitness levels, with many led at a relaxed, social pace so everyone can enjoy the journey together. If you're taking part in one of our trail races, you're free to run, jog, walk, or hike the course - there are no cutoff times, so the focus is on enjoying the experience rather than racing the clock.

We understand booking fees can be confusing, and we want to be as transparent as possible. The booking fee amount is always displayed during the checkout (you can see this on our booking page here when you buy your tickets), and again on the check-out page when confirming your booking.

We add a 7.5% booking fee to our ticket prices, which is in line with the typical 8%-10% for UK festivals. Booking fees on extras like adventure activities is less. This fee helps cover secure card processing, our Easol booking platform, and year-round customer support.

We are also committing to giving 1% towards our 'Love Trails Community Fund', which supports local projects and initiatives in Wales.

You can log into your Easol account at any time at www.myeasol.com, and pay off your balance from there.

Whether you've booked festival tickets, adventures or anything else, if you've booked for multiple people (well done you!), then you can invite your guests to manage their own bookings.

This allows them to change their details, and gives them the option to do things like select a timeslot for their adventure activity.

How to invite guests to manage their own bookings:

(1) Log in to your bookings page here

(2) Scroll until you see your Love Trails Festival ticket (or other activity) in your account

(3) Scroll to 'Guest Details' and you'll see your guests listed

(4) Click 'Edit' if you want to add new details to an existing customer on your booking or change their details yourself, or add their email address so they can change their own details

(5) Click 'Invite' if you want your guests to edit the details themselves. Make sure the blue toggle is set to 'on' and hit 'Send invite'.

(6) Your guests will receive an email inviting them to manage their own bookings.

Easol is our ticketing platform. To buy Festival tickets and/or optional extras, you'll need a free Easol account, which you'll be prompted to create when making your first purchase via the Love Trails Festival website.

We recommend using the same Easol account for all bookings to avoid confusion. Your booking confirmations, balance reminders, and e-tickets will be sent by Easol, and you can log in at any time to view your bookings.

Accomodation & Camping

Everything you need to know about camping, glamping and nearby hotels and hostels

All camping areas at Love Trails Festival powered by Garmin are within easy walking distance of the main arena, with most just a 5-minute walk away. The entire site is around 15 minutes end-to-end.

Please review the festival map before arrival and choose your preferred camping area to help us get everyone on site quickly and safely.

Camping Areas (subject to change in 2026)

Estuary View – Main general campsite, close to the arena with beautiful estuary views.

Gŵyr Field – Our designated quiet camping area. Festival music may still be audible, but campers are asked to keep noise to a minimum after 23:00.

Way Out West – Car parking for those camping in Estuary View or Gŵyr Field. Parking passes must be booked in advance.

Castle Field – Located near Weobley Castle, the Rhythm & Trails stage, luxury showers, and pamper rooms. Music from nearby stages is likely to be heard until the end of each night's programme.

Eastwall – Home to pre-booked Bell Tents, with a quieter tent camping area at the top of the field. Also the most convenient location for Luxury Shower Pass holders.

Middleton Field – Campervan and parking area only. Campervan passes must be purchased in advance. Vehicles must be no larger than 6m x 3m. Tents are not permitted alongside campervans. Awnings are allowed within your pitch but cannot be used for sleeping.

Included in your festival ticket is 4 nights of camping at Weobley Castle Farm. You’ll need to bring your own tent and camping gear (roll mat, sleeping bag and any other camping creature comforts!)

If you'd prefer a bit of luxury, you can pay extra for glamping on the festival site. Choose to stay in a bell tent - there are several comfortable options available!

Love Trails Festival powered by Garmin is a clean and tidy festival, but if you still think camping isn’t for you, there are plenty of Airbnbs or local hotels close to the festival site.

Alternatively, consider booking one of our glamping options at the festival!

Yes! Campervan passes can be purchased separately as an extra via our website.

Campervans must be no larger than 6m x 3m. Tents are not permitted alongside campervans, and while awnings are allowed within your pitch, they cannot be used for sleeping for safety reasons.

If your vehicle exceeds these dimensions, please contact hello@lovetrails.com to arrange an oversized campervan space.hello@lovetrails.com

No. If you would like to sleep in your van or vehicle, you need to purchase a campervan pass and park in a designated pitch in the campervan field. We can’t allow anyone to sleep in the car parking field.

The car park and camping fields are separate, but it is only a short walk between them. It is not possible to drive your car and park next to your tent, even just to unload.

It is not permitted for anyone to pitch their tent next to their van/car under any circumstances. This applies to the campervan field, the camping field, and the car parking fields.

The distance between each camping area and the main festival field is a short walk, about 10 minutes maximum.

Yes, Quiet Camping is in the furthest field from the main festival area, designed for those who want a good night’s sleep. It has a noise curfew of 11 PM, and while you may still hear some festival music, please be extra mindful and keep noise to a minimum after this time to respect others.

Quiet Camping is not something you book in advance - it is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are no public charging points on site, so we recommend bringing a battery pack (or two!) to keep your devices charged.

Glamping guests: An optional electricity add-on is available, providing 240V power and four UK plug sockets in your tent. You can book here. Please note this operates under a strict charging-only policy and may only be used to charge personal devices.

The registration deadline for all trail races was 23:59 on 31 May 2026.

Please note: bookings for 2026 have now closed, and entries cannot be accepted on the day.

Trail race bookings closed at 23:59 on 31st May 2026.

We set a booking deadline so we can prepare the correct number of race bibs, timing chips, medals, ribbons, and nutrition supplies. This helps us plan accurately and reduce waste.

As the booking deadline has now passed, trail race registrations are closed and no further entries can be accepted.

If you have already booked a trail race, you can view your selection in your account. If you're attending as a guest (and someone else purchased your festival ticket), they can check your booking details or manage your registration through their account.

Booking a trail race in advance is essential, as it ensures we have everything ready for participants on race day, including bibs, timing chips, medals, and on-course nutrition.

Please note: We are unable to accept trail race entries after the deadline or on the day of the event.

If you booked one of the free trail races included in your festival ticket (5km, 10km, 16km or 27km), you can access your bookings at any time to check which trail race you booked.

Your confirmed trail race distance can be viewed under 'Guest Selections'.

The registration deadline for all trail races was 23:59 on 31 May 2026.

Please note: bookings for 2026 have now closed, and entries cannot be accepted on the day.

The deadline for changing trail races is 23:59 on 31st May, and you'll be sent email reminders when to do so. We set a deadline so that we know how many medals to make, how many ribbons to order, and make final arrangements for the correct number of entries. This helps us plan better and leaves us with less waste! We do not allow entries on the day.

If you're injured and can no longer run your distance, there's a tonne of other incredible things on the programme to get stuck into. Please don't email us about changing your trail races, as we won't be able to reply or amend them for you. Thank you for your understanding.

We cannot allow any entries on the day of the trail races.

As with all trail races, we set a deadline so that we know how many medals to make (they're made locally in the Gower!), how many ribbons to order, and make final arrangements for the correct number of entries. This helps us plan better and leaves us with less waste!

There are a tonne of other incredible things on the programme to get stuck into, including loads of Running Experiences which don't require pre-booking, you can just show up!

Anyone can take part in a trail race, and we encourage you to do so at your own pace. You can choose to race, run, jog, or hike the trail races. All the trail races include a mixture of rough bridleways and footpaths, so you should be comfortable moving across this type of terrain.

As with all running challenges of this nature, you’ll need to be sure you have the appropriate level of fitness to complete the distance you have chosen.

Runners are responsible for their own safety and kit whilst out running in a trail race. What you take with you depends on the distance you are running, but we would advise having the following at a minimum:

Trail shoes with a decent tread

A running vest or pack

A spare layer, and a waterproof jacket (weather dependent)

Hydration

Food/nutrition (enough for the duration you will be out).

A mobile phone

A first aid kit

Kit Lists for Trail Races

These are mandatory kit lists which should be used as a guide if you are taking part in a Trail Race at Love Trails Festival powered by Garmin. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to wear or carry the items with them at all times from start to finish.

Whilst we will not be doing kit checks at race registration, the event team reserves the right to ask participants to withdraw from the event if they are not carrying the correct kit, taking into account the weather at the time of the race. Please note that this is the minimum kit list and participants are encouraged to pack additional warm clothing & spare nutrition, if the weather demands so. The kit list is in place for your safety. Runners should always be sufficient in the event of injury, and in the scenario you should need to walk to the nearest aid station or start/finish locations. If you plan on moving at a slower pace or walking the routes, you may need additional clothing to keep warm for the time you will be out.

Mandatory Kit List for 5km, 10km, 16km, and 27km:

  • Trail running shoes – must have suitable tread. (Road running shoes or sports trainers are not allowed to be worn)

  • Suitable running race vest or pack*

  • Waterproof jacket with taped seams*

  • Mobile Phone (fully charged)*

  • A water reservoir/bottle/flask (we'd suggest a minimum capacity of around 1 litre)

  • A reusable cup/mug* (only necessary for the 10km & 27km if you wish to drink at the aid stations - There will be no cups offered at the aid stations)

  • First aid kit with a minimum of: wound bandage, 4x adhesive plasters, 4x safety pins, antiseptic wipes/cream, and any personal medication you require*

  • Nutrition/Food for the duration of the race*

  • *These items are not mandatory for the 5km, but we would recommend taking them anyway.

Mandatory Kit List for Ultra-Trail Gower Peninsula and Multi-Day Ultra-Marathon (Day 1):

Additional items required for longer distances:

Waterproof trousers with taped seams

Spare Long-Sleeved Base Layer Top

First aid kit with a minimum of: wound bandage, 4x adhesive plasters, 4x safety pins, antiseptic wipes/cream, and any personal medication you require.

Whistle

Recommended items for all trail races

Waterproof jacket with taped seams

Waterproof trousers with taped seams

Spare Long Sleeved Base Layer Top

First aid kit with a minimum of - wound bandage, 4 x adhesive plasters, 4 x safety pins, antiseptic wipes/cream, and any personal medication you require.

Hat or buff

Gloves

Whistle

The event team will reserve the right to ask for additional warm clothing to be worn or carried if the weather conditions demand so, and this kit list will be amended depending on the weather forecast at the time.

There will be several aid stations on the 10km, 16km, 27km, Ultra-Marathon & Multi-Day routes offering a variety of hydration and food.

For details on aid stations, including locations & distances, check out the Trail Race pages here. To keep things running smoothly and ensure everyone’s safety, there will be cut-off times at each aid station. These are generous and based on a steady hiking pace - not running. Our goal is for the event to be accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of participants, whether you're hiking, jogging, or mixing both (see below).

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the trail races at their own pace, whether that's running, hiking, or walking. To help us operate the event safely and efficiently, we have cut-off times at selected aid stations on the longer-distance routes.

These cut-off times are designed to be generous and achievable for participants moving at a walking pace. Having them in place allows us to safely manage our volunteers, marshals, medical teams, and event crew throughout the day. A member of our team will also be positioned behind the final participant on the course.

Please stay on the marked route throughout your race. If you leave or significantly deviate from the course (for example, to visit the beach or a pub), you may no longer be accounted for by our event team. As participants pass through, we will begin removing route signage and closing aid stations, so support may no longer be available if you rejoin the course later.

Our aim is to create an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone, while ensuring the safety of participants, volunteers, and staff.

All festival tickets include access to our running and hiking experiences.

These are different from Trail Races, which require pre-booking. Running and hiking experiences do not need to be booked in advance — simply turn up and join on the day.

Enjoy unlimited guided runs and hikes throughout the weekend, led by run and hike crews and curated by Love Trails.

Designed to combine movement, adventure, and unique experiences, each session offers a multi-sensory way to explore, connect, and discover the festival.

Adventure & Additional Activities

Everything you need to know about our exciting adventure & additional activities

Adventure Activities are optional experiences at Love Trails that require advance booking and incur an additional cost. Some take place directly on the festival site and require no transport, while others are held at locations across the Gower Peninsula and include return minibus transfers as part of the price. Most activities are delivered by trusted third-party providers, and participants will typically be asked to sign a disclaimer on arrival before taking part.

Available Adventure Activities include Coasteering, Wild Foraging Walks, Rock Climbing, Run to Beer Tasting, Run to Wine Tasting, Run to Cider Tasting, Sea Kayaking, Stand-up Paddleboarding, and Surf Lessons.

For more information about all the adventures, you can explore them here. Choose your activity, then choose your day and time slot.

Activities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to change your activity. Please contact hello@lovetrails.com with your name, booking reference number, and the activity you’d like to change to - our customer service team will then get back to you as soon as possible

You can change the date or time of your activity, but bookings for adventure activities cannot be cancelled or refunded. We need to know bookings in advance so we can plan for the right number of instructors and mini-buses. Health, Safety & Accessibility

Everything you need to know about health, safety, accessibility, and medical support at Love Trails Festival

Love Trails Festival powered by Garmin is situated on a working farm, and covers several large grass fields, connected by road, and woodland walkways. The main festival takes place in one large grass field, which is mostly flat and accessible in dry weather. During wet weather, there may be mud and wet ground and we can’t guarantee easy access for a wheelchair or electric chair, but we can support where required. In the event of wet weather, we may install trackway around some parts of the site. Whilst we will do our absolute best to keep everyone moving around the festival, please be aware that this is an open-air festival in a grassy field and we cannot guarantee the ground conditions. Please get in touch with us if you would like discuss accessibility around the site, so we can better support you.

If you have any specific access requirements (such as BSL), please email us at hello@lovetrails.com, and a member of our team will be able to make sure we can support you.

Given the nature of the physical activities at Love Trails Festival powered by Garmin, please contact us in advance of booking a ticket if you have any questions or concerns about access, so we can talk through your requirements and make the best possible suggestions for you. Following the conversation on your requirements, we will then send over full details on accessibility support and provisions we can make for you.

Our adventure film programme sometimes includes subtitles, and in some cases, we may be able to offer a language signer for the talks & workshops programme. Please get in touch if this service would be useful to you. Thank you to everyone who has shared feedback about the importance of having a BSL interpreter on site. Whilst we may not able to provide BSL coverage for the entire programme, we are committed to making the programme as accessible as possible, and are working to ensure that key parts of our talks and workshop programme are supported by BSL interpretation. We really appreciate the Deaf community’s understanding and patience as we continue to improve our accessibility offerings. If there are specific sessions you’re most interested in, we’ll do our best to prioritise where we can.

We offer a free festival ticket for personal assistant (PA Ticket) to attend the festival with anyone with a disability. We are also happy to discuss any on site requirements that may be of use to you. To qualify for a PA ticket, we’ll ask you to provide relevant proof of documentation (like proof of DLA, PIP, your CredAbility or Assistance Dog ID Card) must be provided on entry.  Personal assistant tickets must be purchased in addition to a festival ticket. We operate on a case by case basis as we appreciate that everyone has different access requirements and we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time at Love Trails Festival.

Please fill out the accessibility request form so we can understand how to support you.

Please note, as of 31st March, 2026, we can no longer issue Personal Assistant Tickets (unless you have already requested one). For additional accessibility help, due to the level of infrastructure planning required and the time remaining before the event, we might not be able to process any new requests that involve additional infrastructure after this date. That said, we will of course continue to do what we can to support within the setup we already have in place. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have a question or need help with something specific - we’ll always try our best!

You can bring alcohol into the campsites but not into the main festival site. Glass bottles are not allowed.

Our bars operate a 'Challenge 25' policy, and we reserve the right to ask to see a valid form of identification (passport or driving licence) if we think you look under the age of 25.

If you'd like to cook your own food, small gas stoves are allowed in the camping field.

There will be some running nutrition available, but you may want to consider bringing some of your own trail snacks & nutrition to take on longer adventures, especially if you're planning on putting in some big mileage over the course of the festival!

Please note that our food traders will not accept cash payments.

Drinking water will be available from the water taps in the campsites and at each of the bars. Please make sure you stay hydrated, especially after races and activities.
