ABOUT

This is not just a 5km; it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty that defines North Gower, whether you choose to race, run, jog, or hike. Taking place on Sunday, the 5km trail race is a perfect way to close off your running experience at Love Trails Festival, taking in one last scenic wander on the final day of what has hopefully been a magical weekend!

Waving goodbye to the festival village, the route starts along the Wales Coast Path, with views of wild ponies and sheep scattered across the salt marshes. You’ll endure a short climb up onto the sweeping trail above the festival site, before descending back down, finishing amongst the full festival experience, returning to a lovingly made wooden medal, designed and made right here in the Gower Peninsula.

This route is fully marked with directional signage, so there’s no need to navigate, just follow the signs!

There are no aid stations on this route, so pack snacks, water, and enjoy the journey!

This 10km trail race can be raced, run, or walked, alone or with friends. However you fancy tackling it, scenic splendour awaits.

Heading straight out of the festival site on Saturday morning, the route travels across compact dusty trails (with a bit of mud!) over the wild expanse of Cefn Bryn, dropping down to the peaceful village of Reynoldston, beaming with Welsh charm. With varied terrain and endless views, you can expect a blend of uphill excitement and downhill exhilaration, all in equal measure.

As with all our trail races, you’ll start and finish amidst the energy of the festival site, with a whole programme of live music and post-run celebrations to follow. This is a fully supported route with marshals and one aid station.
