The guided run will meet at the castle. If you'd prefer to miss out the run, you can meet the group when they return, approximately 30 minutes after they start the run. Wine Tasting will take approximately 90 minutes.
Final info will be included in your E-Ticket, sent to you by email 7 days before the event.
Taste meets adventure and elegance in this unforgettable wine tasting experience, curated in partnership with Virgin Wines and set against the dramatic backdrop of Weobley Castle. Begin with an optional guided 4km run across the salt marshes, then return to savour four exceptional wines, handpicked by expert sommeliers from Virgin Wines, renowned for their bold, characterful selections.
The guided run will take you straight out onto the Estuary, crossing the meandering waters on the salt marsh, alongside the sheep and wild ponies that graze the marshes. Socially paced, with plenty of stops, the run is an opportunity to chat to the rest of the group, before settling in for your wine tasting experience.
Tasting takes place back at Weobley Castle, a ruined building with rich history dating back to the 13th century, boasting a glimpse into medieval Welsh history.

Tŷ Sawna is a wood-fired, beachside sauna experience based on the coastline of Oxwich Bay, Gower. We’re all about getting people outside, connecting to nature, and creating space to slow down, switch off, and feel really good.
At Love Trails, we’re bringing our self - guided Run to Sauna experience, swapping the finish line for fire, heat, and salty sea air. You’ll guide yourselves through the coastal landscape, using our trusty GPX, land at the saunas, and drop straight into that post-run exhale.
This experience includes a 55 minute sauna session at Tŷ Sawna. It is a self guided 10km run/hike from the festival site to Oxwich Bay's Tŷ Sawna. A GPX file of the route will be provided and shared in your E-Ticket. Please note you will need to make your own way back to the festival site after the sauna session.
Level-Up Your Love Trails Experience with an Extra Adventure in the beautiful Gower Peninsula.
Top up your daily dose of adventure by adding an adventure activity to your Love Trails experience. All adventure passes include minibus transfer to and from the festival site (although you’re welcome to run or hike if you’d prefer), all gear, qualified instructors, and safety where appropriate.
The backdrop for adventures at Love Trails Festival are the beaches and coastal paths of the Gower Peninsula, the UK's first designated & protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Experience the wild beauty of Rhossili Bay, one of the Gower Peninsula’s most iconic coastal landscapes, on our guided sea kayaking adventure. Led by qualified instructors, this 2.5-hour excursion offers breathtaking views of sweeping cliffs, golden sands, and the open sea. Paddle along the dramatic shoreline toward the headland before looping back to the sheltered waters of Rhossili Bay - an unforgettable journey on the water.
Designed for participants of all skill levels, but particularly for those with endurance, the instructors will be there to help you navigate the waters with confidence.
Each session includes a mini bus transfer to & from festival site, and all safety equipment.

A unique and wild guided foraging walk with expert forager and wilderness survival instructor, Andrew Price. Includes two hour session from the Castle Lawn along the Gower salt marshes, straight out of the festival site.
The pace will be slow and steady, and you'll stop regularly to learn about the flora and fauna.
Andrew Thomas Price is a television presenter, motivational coach and speaker, Bushcraft and survival Instructor, Mountain leader adventurer and naturalist.

Paddleboarding in the Gower Peninsula is as a serene yet invigorating experience.With its sheltered bays and crystal-clear waters, the Gower provides an idyllic setting for paddle-boarding, offering a unique perspective of the surrounding cliffs, hidden coves, and marine life beneath. Balance becomes a key skill, as stability and control is needed with each stroke.

The Gower Peninsula's diverse climbing routes cater to all skill levels, from beginners seeking a thrilling introduction to the sport to seasoned climbers looking for a test of their expertise. Against the backdrop of sweeping vistas and crashing waves, climbers can enjoy panoramic views of the pristine coastline, sandy beaches, and the vast expanse of the ocean.
The experience is not only physically demanding but also mentally rewarding, requiring focus, strategy, and a deep connection with the natural surroundings.

Climbing takes place at Rhossili Beach, and if you’d prefer to make your own way there, then it's a 11km hike or run each way.
Please note that you'll need to bring your own climbing shoes, or climb in your trainers.
Bird Watching
After a minibus transfer to Cwm Ivy, this small-group, three-hour experience explores saltmarsh, tidal flats, woodland, dunes, and scrub. Timed for optimal conditions, you’ll spot birds of prey like Peregrine, Kestrel, Red Kite, and possibly Marsh Harrier, alongside waders, egrets, and warblers.
Each walk offers unique sightings. Ed, a highly respected local naturalist, brings exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm. No experience is needed, and binoculars are provided. Minibus transport from the festival site is included for a seamless and immersive birdwatching experience.
